About Harvest Schoolhouse

Rooted in Faith. Growing in Knowledge. Cultivating Leaders for Christ.

A Place Where Students Grow, Learn, and Thrive

Students at Harvest Schoolhouse are more than just learners—they are active participants in a Christ-centered community where their unique gifts and talents are recognized and nurtured.

They experience a highly adaptive environment that supports their academic, social, and spiritual growth. Each day provides opportunities to explore their interests, set personal goals, and take meaningful steps toward mastering new skills. With structured support and hands-on experiences, students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of how they learn best.

Students engage in real-world projects, develop critical thinking skills, and form meaningful relationships in a community that values respect and individuality. Through interactive learning, creative exploration, and the pursuit of biblical truth, they are empowered to make wise decisions and become compassionate leaders.

At Harvest Schoolhouse, students take ownership of their education, embrace challenges, and find joy in learning within an environment that is designed to meet their unique needs.

A message from the Head of School

Welcome to Harvest Schoolhouse!

Dear Parents and Friends,

Welcome to Harvest Schoolhouse! It is my joy and privilege to share with you the heart and vision behind our Christ-centered microschool.

For nearly 30 years, I have dedicated my life to education. As a principal, over the past decade, I have had the opportunity to support students in public schools across the state. I have witnessed firsthand the challenges and disconnects in public education. These experiences, coupled with my deep faith, led me to establish Harvest Schoolhouse. God placed this mission on my heart and, in His perfect timing, surrounded me with the right people and resources to bring it to life.

This first year has been an incredible journey of growth, adaptation, and discovery. On any given day, you will find our students joyfully engaged—studying, reading, writing, singing, laughing, collaborating, exploring, and creating. We worship together, pray together, and navigate challenges with grace. We emphasize executive functioning, emotional regulation, personal responsibility, and biblical truth, equipping students to speak up for themselves and live out their faith boldly.

Effective mentorship means balancing guidance with flexibility, knowing when to hold firm and when to let students explore freely. Our goal is to create an environment where every child is seen, heard, and valued—where they understand that they are the builders of their own learning experience.

As we look to the future, I am excited about welcoming more families into our nurturing environment while preserving the intimacy and personal connection that makes Harvest Schoolhouse so special. I am humbled by the trust our families place in us and grateful to witness the incredible personal and academic growth of our students. At Harvest Schoolhouse, we don’t just educate; we cultivate a love for learning and a deep faith that will guide our students for a lifetime.

Thank you for considering Harvest Schoolhouse as a place where your child can grow, learn, and belong. I look forward to welcoming you into our community.

Blessings,
